Career Information Session Workshop 2024

On 19th August 2024, FAWE Rwanda organized a Career Information Session Workshop for 110 scholars designed to equip them with essential career readiness skills. Participants had the unique opportunity to engage with industry professionals from various sectors, gaining valuable insights into the demands and expectations of different career paths. Discussions centered around adaptability, personal branding, and the importance of seeking mentorship even in the professional world. The workshop was interactive, with participants actively engaging in Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities were abundant. Speakers shared empowering stories and advice, motivating the young women to pursue their career aspirations with boldness and clarity of vision after graduation.
A FAWE Scholar and Mastercard Foundation , Mpawenimana Charlotte shared that she learned a lot during the workshop and that her strong take away was how to use social media platforms for personal branding online and this will help her position herself for the job market especially using social media platforms and building her professional online presence.
